Aw, Gail, you’re nice! Yeah, my then-roomie (Joseph D’Agnese), circa 2000, had started doing some food writing for the Times. One day I came home, gushing about a great sandwich I’d had. joe said the Times needed a “Quick Bite” and it took off from there….
I just wonder, out of all the times I’ve met you, why this never came up. I could have talked all night about “Quick Bites” and stuff!
