Pretty impressive, lots of folks out of the woodwork come to write new stuff for Summer 2014. Heehau me funmy. My grateful dead loving band mate really zoned on Summer Days off that Dylan album. I do my best to flow with others, but there at least 5 others on that album I liked a whole lot better. Saw Dylan in concert not long after, a year or two after the Wimp Reunion. The four people I was with didn’t have great things to say- Dylan was sloppy, was he drunk? Unrehearsed? Classic early 60s Dylan song barely recognizable. – Surprise, I liked the concert. I can, or you maybe can, see where they’re coming from. Maybe other people’s opinions are the ones that matter most, at least that’s what I try keeping in mind while typing 1000 words.

Whoops, last sentence is kind of bogus. When I write and play music, I do a lot of purely for myself. Depending on the vibe of the audience, a liberating scene compared to writing on the internet, I often change up the approach. I have a half sense that this comment is bogus. Hello! Dog days of summer, you here already? Go-Betweens, special band.

i might google, but Joni Mitchell’s song i think appears on Heirja, the album Jaco Pastorius joins her on bass. If you like jazz (i’m iffy with it, but when it’s good, it’s good good good), try looking into the Tribute to Jaco CD. A team of ace bass players going for his style along with his very nice compositions. Summertime may have been the time when Jaco was beaten to death in Florida.

Jack do you ever feel a little manic when writing? Sometimes I feel like the guy they described who wrote, “Carberatour Dung something like that and yadd yadd yadda”, the musci critic dude portrayed by Phillip See More Drugs Hoffman.

You sound a little pooh pooh on stream…. Mine is all stream of consciousness. Having kept diaries of sorts throughout life though, you kind of have some grasp on outline. Anyway, I no way want to pursue writing, with words, alot of them, in paragraphs, like I don’t do, but something. Finding employment in the outside street or nature is a bit of a goal. Scratch the street. Did you read that book I think called Electro Boy? About some crazy obsessive compulsive bipolar NYC dude in the Art World. Disturbing, but I made it to end I think.
