So last night I was bored, and Amanda and the baby had already gone to bed. For whatever reason I decided to follow up on a notion I’d formulated a few days earlier: Ron Paul resembles Ian Mckellen. I took a still of Sir Ian as Gandalf in Lord Of The Rings and superimposed Ron Paul’s face over it using Photoshop. I threw in a sound clip from the film and a few bells and whistles and threw it up on Youtube within the hour. I sent the link to Wonkette just for laughs, and it ended up on their front page today – Fellowship Of The Nerds.
Anyway, it was kind of a nice, cheap thrill for a striking writer with no outlet. Does this make me a scab?
